As a company we are so pleased to have been invited to sponsor the “Dirty Dash” recently held at Cedar Barn Farm Shop and Cafe.
This event was the first of its kind to be held at the venue and was in aid of two local charities: L.I.A.M and The Rob Stephenson Trust.
The organisation of this event was exceptional and with over 100 runners it was certainly enjoyable. (and rather muddy!)
All of us here at The Jones Partnership (North Yorkshire) Ltd congratulate everyone involved in the planning, preparation and participation and are certainly delighted to have been included as one of many local sponsors.
We have been reliably informed that the event raised in excess of £4,300 and will be divided equally between the two charities. This is certainly an impressive amount which we feel sure will be very much appreciated by the charities chosen.
WELL DONE EVERYBODY!
We are very hopeful that The Dirty Dash will become an annual event at Cedar Barn Farm Shop and Cafe, and would like to offer continued sponsorship for such a wonderful event and causes.
(The staff here are also trying to be coerced into putting a team together for next year so watch this space!)
L.I.A.M was set up in memory of a young Yorkshire Musician – Liam Miller – from Terrington. It provides grants to young people pursuing artistic or musical disciplines in higher education.
The Rob Stephenson Trust was established by the Pickering boy’s family following his tragic passing, to help children to take part in sport.
